Who is responsible for your data
Jothi Learning is responsible for this website and the personal data collected through it. For website privacy queries, you can contact Jothi Learning at legal@jothi.uk.
What data we collect
- Name and contact details that you provide in an enquiry.
- The student's year group, subject need, and any details you choose to include in your message.
- Your confirmation that you have read the privacy notice when you submit the enquiry form.
- Basic technical information needed to deliver the website safely and reliably.
Why we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss tuition services.
- To keep a basic record of prospective family enquiries.
- To protect the website and manage technical issues.
Lawful basis
Jothi Learning uses enquiry details because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a service arrangement, and because Jothi Learning has a legitimate interest in managing and responding to genuine website enquiries.
Who receives the data
Your data may be accessed by Jothi Learning and by website service providers used to host the site, manage email, or process enquiry form submissions. Zoho Bigin processes the enquiry details submitted through the consultation form so Jothi Learning can receive and manage the enquiry. These providers should only receive the data needed for their role.
Google and YouTube API data
Jothi Learning uses the YouTube Data API within its Jothi Zoom YouTube Archive automation. The application uses the youtube.upload permission solely to upload authorised Jothi recordings to Jothi Learning's authorised YouTube channel. Uploads made through this automation are set to Private.
OAuth credentials and tokens are used only to provide this functionality and are stored securely. Jothi Learning does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising or profiling.
Google user data is not shared with third parties except where required to provide the service, maintain security, comply with applicable law, or where otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.
Jothi Learning's use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep website enquiries
Website enquiries should only be kept for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, assess fit, and keep a basic record of interest. If no service starts, Jothi Learning aims to delete or review enquiry-stage data within 12 months unless there is a valid reason to keep a basic record for longer.
Marketing
This website does not add you to a marketing email list automatically. With your optional marketing consent, Jothi Learning uses Meta Pixel to understand campaign effectiveness. It may send a PageView and, after a successful consultation enquiry, a standard Lead event.
Jothi Learning's implementation does not intentionally send the contents of the Bigin enquiry form to Meta. Names, email addresses, telephone numbers, student details, and free-text form answers are not included in those events.
With the same optional marketing consent, Jothi Learning may use OpenAI advertising measurement on the Year 9 Maths enquiry confirmation page to measure actions following ChatGPT ads. The OpenAI Pixel may use first-party measurement cookies, including an ad-click reference and a browser reference. If automatic advanced matching is enabled, supported identifiers may be securely hashed in the browser; raw customer information is not sent through that feature. Jothi Learning does not include enquiry details in its OpenAI conversion event.
You can reject optional marketing cookies without losing essential website or enquiry-form functionality. You can also change your choice later using the Cookie settings control. More information is available in the Cookies Notice.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, request correction, request erasure in some cases, object to certain uses, or raise a concern. You can contact Jothi Learning first at legal@jothi.uk.
